American actress Jennifer Leann Carpenter was born on December 7th 1979. She is well-known for her portrayal of Debra Morgan on Showtime's Dexter. She also received the Saturn Award for that show in 2009. Also, she is known for her role in Limitless, which featured Rebecca Harris. She started playing Erica Shepherd, the main role in the NBC drama The Enemy Within, in the year 2019. Carpenter's role in The Exorcism of Emily Rose was the most talked about. Carpenter and Seth Avett got engaged in February of 2015. The news was announced in August 2015 that Carpenter gave birth to a boy in May 2015. Carpenter also admitted she was eight and a half months pregnant when she began filming Limitless' pilot episode. Carpenter and Avett were wed in May 2016.
