Kristin Landen Davis Bio

Davis was born in Boulder Colorado. Her parents divorced when she was when she was a young girl and she became the sole child. After she got married to Dorothy who was a analyst in data analysis, Keith Davis, her stepfather took her in. Three half-sisters were born in her father's previous wife. Her parents moved to Columbia, South Carolina early in her life. Her father was the provost at Columbia and she taught psychology at the University of South Carolina. Davis was an actor in the production of the community theater of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the age of 10. Davis was born in South Carolina and graduated from A.C. Flora High School, in 1983. After having graduated from A.C. Flora High School in 1983, Davis relocated to New Jersey and attended Rutgers University. In 1987, Davis received a bachelor's from Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts. Davis was graduated in 1987, and then moved to New York where she worked as a waitress, before opening an yoga studio with her friend. Davis was given the role as Brooke Armstrong Campbell in Melrose Place in 1995. After a year, the producers realized that viewers didn't like her character , and she quit the show. Davis has also played the roles of other shows on television such as Friends, Will and Grace and Seinfeld. Davis was given the role in 1998 as Charlotte York in Sex and the City. She was as a key element of the cast until the show's ended in 2004. In the final season she was nominated for an Emmy.
