 Kari Matchett is an Canadian actress, best known for appearing in movies like "Apartment Hunting, 'Men with Brooms, The Tree of Life.' Born in Spalding, Saskatchewan and raised in the area, she later moved to Alberta where she completed high school. She began to develop an interest in acting in her teens. She attended the National Theatre School' in Montreal. Later, she went to the Moscow Theatre School. In 1996, she played a support role in the Canadian series titled "The Rez." She also appeared in shows like Ready or Not' and Forever Knight' that year. Her film debut came in the late 1990s, with the film Papertrail. Then, she was in films such as 'Men with Brooms’ 'Cypher', and others. She also had support roles in shows such as "A Nero Wolfe Mystery" and "Blue Murder." She was also in film throughout the 2000s, but her appearances on film were much less than the TV roles she played. She also played the lead actress in the 1998 Canadian drama called Power Play. It was on for two seasons and 26 episodes and was praised by critics and advertisers. In recognition of her part in the show, she was nominated as a Gemini Award nominee. Jude Lyon Matchett became her first child in June 2013. But she didn't disclose the father's name. According to some reports, the father of her son is her former boyfriend. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke and T.W. Peacocke. They started dating in the mid-1990s. The couple got married in 1998. But the wedding was a disaster and the couple broke up in 2006.
