Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi on August 14, 1983. Kunis immigrated along with her parents Elvira Kunis and Mark Kunis to the United States at seven years old. They eventually moved to Los Angeles. The Kunis family had only $250 to their name when they arrived in their new country. Kunis' parents, who gave up their jobs to begin a new life, were determined for their children to enjoy a better standard of living. Mark who was a former mechanical engineer, found work as Uber's driver. Elvira had previously taught physics in Ukraine and ended up owning the pharmacy. Kunis said that he did not fully understand the American cultural norms when he first came to America. "I did not know anyone. I didn’t understand the language. The first line of my college application essay was "Imagine being blind and deaf at age seven". That's what it felt like moving to the States. I was able to get over it quickly. Milena Markovna Kunis is the daughter of Mark Kunis (Ukraine) and Elvira (Chenivtsi), Ukraine. She was born August 14, 1983. She is the elder sister of her brother. Her mother is a pharmacist and a physics teacher. Her father is a mechanical engineer by profession. He doubles up as a driver of taxis. When she was 7 years old, old, her family moved to Los Angeles. Rosewood Elementary was where she went to school. When she was nine-years-old she started acting lessons. After auditioning for a couple of commercials, she made her television debut in 1994 on 'Days of our Lives. She also starred as a child actress in the 'Honey We Shrunk Ourself and 'Santa with Muscles,' as well as the Angelina Jolie movie, Gia. In 1998, she was offered her first major role as 'Jackie Burkhart' in the hit sitcom 'That '70s show'.After the acclaim about her performance in the role of 'Jackie' she was cast in the role of 'Meg Griffin', in the animated sitcom 'Family Guy'.
