Elizabeth Leigh Vassey

Elizabeth Leigh Vassey (born August 9, 1972) is an American actress. She is famous for her performances in the roles of Emily Ann Sago, Captain Liberty, in All My Children and in The Tick. Wendy Simms was in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2001. Wendy Beaumont in Nikki & Nora in Nikki & Nora. Vassey was Emily Ann Sago, a teenager on the All My Children's soap from 1988 until 1991. From 2004 to 2005, she had a recurring role on the show Tru Calling as Dr. Carrie Allen.She was featured in several episodes on the sitcom Two and a Half Men. Vassey was Wendy Simms, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's character who recurred, from 2005 to 2010. Vassey was promoted from a regular cast member to the Wendy Simms character during the tenth season. She also began appearing in the show's opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported on June 1st, 2010 that Vassey did not plan to return for the show's 11th season. She appeared on one episode of the season.Vassey made a cameo on Joss Whedon's web-based musical Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, as "Fury Leika". Vassey married David Emmerichs who is a camera operator. In 2002, Vassey founded Neurosis to T(ee) which sells slogan-covered T-shirts for women. The slogans make fun of the neuroses and worries of women. They often relate to relationships.
