Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz (pronounced NOH-vitch) is a Canadian actress from Canada. Her best-known work is her role in the role of Andy Jensen on the ABC Family series Kyle XY, as Lacy Rand in the short-lived Syfy science fiction drama series Caprica and as Emily (born Maya Hartwell) in the science-fiction series Continuum. In the past, she played Sandy in the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz she is a Polish-American, spent the ninth year in Poland. She lived with her uncle in Poland and went to Jelenia Gola School. She then went on to pursue a degree at Vancouver Film School. Her brother introduced her to Pulp Fiction at the age 10 and she immediately became attracted to acting. She started her acting career in 2002 by appearing in Jeremiah and John Doe. In 2007-2009, she played Andy Jensen in Kyle XY. In 2008, she appeared as Andy Jensen in Every Second Counts on the Hallmark Channel. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast to play Lacy Rand in Caprica's telecast drama featuring Eric Stoltz & Alessandra Turresani. In the following season, she appeared in the show Hellcats. In 2012, she starred in the role of Emily in Jane Espenson's second series of her romantic comedy web series Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz also played the role as Samantha in The Green Inferno, an Eli Roth horror film. The Green Inferno was originally filmed in 2012. It was released internationally in 2015. Apanowicz was cast in Volition as Angela. It was released on February 20, 2020. Apanowicz was cast as Sandy in the second season Netflix thriller You.
